"WAYNE ROONEY is a liability": Man United Fan BLASTS Club Legend

Criticism is an integral part of the game of football. As a footballer, you are never too far away from backlash, regardless of the fact that you have recently made a jaw-dropping impact at the greatest club in England.

Wayne Rooney, 31, scored his 250th goal for the Red Devils in their 1-1 draw with Stoke City on Saturday to emerge as the club's leading goal scorer.
The 31-year-old who left Everton for Old Trafford outperformed club legend, Sir Bobby Charlton - who scored 249 goals -  in the process and etched his name in United folklore.

Be that as it may, one United fan disregarded this little nugget of information when he referred to the striker, who has represented to the club since 2004, a "liability"

Addressing the former Blackburn Rovers player, Robbie Savage, who is now a MirrorSport journalist, on BBC Radio 5 Live, which you can see in full in the above video, the supporter named Andrew explained why it is time for Rooney to move on.
In the clip, he says: "It's time to get rid of Rooney, because he's a liability.

"[Jose] Mourinho is a decent manager, he will do a decent job, but they need to get rid of Rooney now while they can still get money for him."

The fan does mention his record, and claims that it is "fantastic" before admitting he scored a "great goal" against the Potters, but follows it up by repeating the club need to get rid of him.

Explaining his reason, the supporter says: "He does one decent thing in six months, so he shouldn't be playing for us anymore, simple."

The radio rant emerges on the back of another, in which a Man United fan stated that the club should sack Jose Mourinho for Tony Pulis.
